Parents are earnestly requested to do their part by enforcing regularity and discipline in their children. We strongly recommend that you spend ‘quality time’ with your child talking over the day’s events of the day and see that children prepare their home lessons as specified in the calendar and devote at least one hour in the morning and two hours in the evening for study.
Unit Tests and Semester Exams are important indicators which reflect the academic growth of your children. You are requested to carefully examine the report cards and return them duly signed to the respective class teachers within three days.
Admitting Students to private tuition is highly discouraged by the school authorities. As enough care and support is rendered by the teachers in our school, we find such tuition’s are not necessary. It creates confusion and causes mental and psychological burden on the minds of the young children. Kindly encourage your children to cultivate the habit of self-study regularly, which will go a long way in developing an independent mind.
As per the norms of the education board, students must not have less than 75% attendance. However we appeal to all the students to maintain more than 90% attendance for better academic performance. Those students who do not have required percentage of attendance at the end of the academic year shall not be eligible to appear for the final exams and they shall not be promoted to higher classes.
Help your child to make a personal time-table. Create a studious atmosphere by avoiding all kinds of disturbances like T.V, Video, Internet and Mobile etc.
Encourage the child to read daily newspapers & other good reading materials to improve the vocabulary and general knowledge.
Cleanliness and hygiene are important qualities which students develop from their childhood. Parents are requested to send your children to school clean and neatly dressed in proper uniform.
After the school hours please ensure that your children reach home without delay. Parents shall be informed in advance if students are to stay back for extra time for special classes or sports or any other activities.
Never criticize the teacher in the presence of students. On the contrary, advice your child to develop respect towards the teachers. This helps your child to look up to the teacher and learn from her / him.
If there are any complaints related to any teacher or any dissatisfaction towards teaching or for any clarifications or queries, you may directly approach the School authorities (Manager and Head Mistress). Indulging in any conversation or arguments with any teaching or non teaching staff member is strictly forbidden and may lead to serious consequences.
Every student has the privilege to make proper use of the infrastructure and facilities available but not to misuse or damage. Any damage done to the school property must be remedied by the offender. The decision of the School authority in this matter will be final.
