Dear Beloved,
Greetings from Lourdes School, Cubbonpet, Bangalore!
It gives me immense joy to share few thoughts on the occasion of inaugurating the new school website. The three focuses for our website viewers is to inform, to challenge, and to celebrate:
Inform – to keep you in touch with upcoming events, news, and information.
Challenge – we want to produce a new generation of thinkers. We will be teaching children structured and systematic approaches to thinking and providing lots of opportunities to use these skills. Look out for plenty of brain challenges in our website.
Celebrate – our most precious resource is our students. We want to take every opportunity to share with you the wonderful learning experiences that happen here each day, week, month, year. The quality of our school website is very important to us.
It is rightly said that “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievement” and we are committed in taking constructive and purposeful actions to produce optimistic, independent, compassionate, lifelong learners and leaders who will bring glory to the School, State and the Nation.
My dream is the need to have our School to understand, remember and act upon the concept that the world needs not only well-educated and intelligent people, but the world also needs people who are courageous and compassionate. We need people who extend their hands to help others and stand up for the rights of all mankind
I take this opportunity to acknowledge the extreme hard work of our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff by working round the clock to keep our school at the zenith of success.
I would like to tell our dear parents, that our school appreciates the development in your child which has occurred over the years by the safe guidance of your effort. Your child has grown to be a better person. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Kindly teach your children not to give up the impossible dream because as they continue trying, they are becoming closer and closer to it. When others think it is impossible, it does not mean it is impossible for them.
Every morning when I see the radiant faces of the students while they enter the school, I am enlivened and invigorated. At the same time, I feel the heavy responsibility on my shoulders. The school has been cultivating in our students the seeds of spiritual and ethical growth, and is keen to pass on knowledge to the next generation. We endeavor to equip our students with all-round abilities in order that they can contribute to society in the future, serve others and glorify the Lord. May the Lord continue to guide us as we proceed into the future. God Bless.
